I doubt it is an original bumper. The fog light cutouts did not come painted from the factory, also they seem like they are fully connected to the bumper as one piece. An original bumper would look like this. My link

Good luck with your searches!

EDITED:

But as you said, if the respray wasn't caused by an accident then I would consider it a minor issue. You could change to an OEM or after market bumper if you want.

What would be a fair price to offer a car like this? Let say if it's 20k otd I would jump on it. 29k is way overpriced for me.
If it was 20k someone would have already bought it. Kbb does not represent true value. In Socal, 20k will get you an older S2000 with 40k-45k.

I would offer 25k, but these things aren't going to really depreciate much as long as they're kept clean and stock. So something that new with few miles is going to demand a good price. You can't really use kbb for these cars. For some model years, the price is ridiculously over priced, and for others (like this one) it's a little too low. NADA is a good starting point for reference, but that's even sometimes too low. Watching the market in general, and realizing that most people's asking price is slightly exaggerated,is the best way to get a feel for the pricing. And that will even change with the weather and time of year since these are verts.

If they're immature enough to mod it like that, it more than likely wasn't driven nicely or maintained properly. I bet half of those gauges aren't even wired to anything.

Yea I've talked to him via text and he said he has the gauges on for looks and not one is for boost, as for the stickers they are Falken cusco fujisubo stickers.. And yea it's my favorite color combo too and the only one I'm willing to buy as my first s2k. Overlooking the gauges and the stickers, I love it. Those miles are what's making me really interested in this car because that's the lowest I've seen on a gpw with a clean title. He also has a carfax but is there a way to know if he was running boost in it? Besides his word.

Best thing to do would be to take it to Black Trax in Milpitas or Joey in South SF for a PPI.

There's also this 06 http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/cto/4345739121.html. Twice the mileage but IMHO it scares me less than the low mileage one. I don't think low mileage one is worth $5k more.

+1 this. The one with all the superfluous gauges leaves way too many questions unanswered and the pics are simply awful. Go for the completely unmolested one.

I'll probably take to black trax if I do end going to check it out, and yea I've seen the s2k too it's just I plan on keeping the car for along time and using it as a daily. So that's why I want want one with low miles so I can drive it and not worry about the miles going up to fast. I also brought him down to $20k.
