Check the retainers for sure. With tight valves it may be a ticking timebomb. 11k isnt a bad deal.

If its really mint and all stock 25k is pretty good price.
They usually list them here for like 32k+

With that mileage and year, I'd say closer to $10.5k or even $10k

If you're worried, would your local Hond dealer take a look for you for a price, like a pre-purchase inspection? May run you only $200-300 and be worth it

My experience is if the car is listed lower than market value, something is wrong with it. I'd have the car thoroughly inspected before buying

Car guru is a good site to see if a price is too high or not

I can tear it down in his driveway and check everything, that's no issue. I think I'm gonna offer him 10k cash and see what happens

I am thinking about looking at a s2000 today, about a few hour ride, the guys asking 9000 for it, has a few holes in the roof, and scrapes in the front bumper, do you think thats a good price? also what should i look for when i go to look at it? anything in particular? heres the posting http://albany.craigslist.org/cto/3754241453.html

Something tells me this car has been thrashed. I would consider getting it looked at very closely. Find out about the maintenance history, too. If he hasn't been bothered to fix his roof, who knows what else he hasn't bothered to do...

I got the same feeling, Im going to trust the guy saying that its mint besides the top, and I'm going to take out a loan tomorrow for 9k and I'm going to ride down there and look at it
