RUN FAR AWAY!!! I'm no S2000 expert and I, too, would not even think twice about running from this heap.

 

Enh I am maybe alittle more open minded than many on here. If you are looking for a project car to build this could be a good fit. Even still there is a lot of questions that need to be answered.

First off is it a scam? It is possible due to the nature of the add.

Are there any issues with the title and is it registered?

Want was the damage? Where was it fixed? Is the paperwork for the repairs?

Is the motor running right?

Is the soft top there?

There is more but yeah like I said a lot of questions. I would message the guy that you may be interested and get more info on the car. Generally their response will tell you if it is a scam because they will say something stupid or it will barely be in english. Worst case you go drive it and it isn't what you want. Best case its a good project for an ok price.

 

Please run away. You're not the least expert guy here as long as I'm around, but i'm not so stupid that i can't check cars.com, autotrader and craigslist, and there are a freakin ton of these cars available right now, and the prices are already starting to slide. I was actually wanting to maybe boost it and use it as a street class drag car. I really want a daily s2k but I knew that this wasn't the one. Lol the reason I was considering it is because it runs and I see bare shells going for 5-6k all the time, granted they are a lot cleaner than this but, I try to look at the potential in all things. I don't know much about the f series. I know a lot about b series and k series and that's why I turned to s2ki. Thanks for the input. Now I must think. Lol
