Well.. I never thought I'd see the end of the "e" thread. I expect the Kia won't have the soul the e has, which I know is hard to manufacture in any car never mind an EV.
I saw the e replacement the other day on The Late Brake Show. Johnny definitely doesn't seem impressed and to be fair, the e:Ny1 really does look like.. anyone. Aside from a twin to the rather boring CRV.
Sone twit drove into the front o/s of the Q3 on Friday. Wife was driving and it was low speed impact, other drivers fault basically jumped a red light.
We've been thrown a 6 month old Merc GLA 220d 4matic whilst the repairs commence. Tech inside is excellent. By god though, due to it's 8 speed auto, you live on that brake pedal.
Much prefer my old S.
Good luck with the Kia pal, new Kia thread incoming?
It's unfortunately the shape of things to come for all things Honda, playing it safe I believe.
you'd Bork if the s2000 is revived with that same face. Hideous. What are Honda playing at?! The masses, that's what ..
That said the Kia does have something different to it, futuristic like the Hyundai Ioniq.
This GLA looks identical to the Q3 side on, however it's an improvement to the previous build which frankly looked laughable with it's bulbous arse dimensions. It's fast, safe and comfy, but soulless like all the SUVs out there. Glad to say it's not a Ford - we'd definitely reject that as a temporary car.
Dealers can hide some fleet / usage shyte in wording the advert. Though I'm not sure the V5 would have to be amended while under dealer ownership? Could they just do what they like? But buying short of MOT age the V5/logbook is all you can get to see to go on when buying used.
We bought our Seat in 2015 with a 10k discount 10 months old and 4,000 miles on the clock. It was claimed it had been a company car. But probably a demo as well. Has it suffered unduly for having been a demo? Nah. Hang in there for a while I think. I hear there are also a lot of PCP BEVs hitting the market now - many took this out at the start of the pandemic, and now they want to get rid or a new one. Buyers market! I'd be tempted to buy a BEV now if there was something wrong with the Seat. But there isn't, even the seat is still good.
