I have the most respect for the Cali guys but that particular dynapack reads higher then any I've ever seen. Remember this is the same dynapack that pulls 240ish on a stock AP2. It's run by a great tuner who is knowledgable about s2000s but don't use it's numbers for comparison to a different dyno.
what's the word with that header? have you seen any gains performence wise, or on the dyno? just curious.

I agree...Shawn is a good tuner...but the dyno reads high. I made 235 whp on his dyno with minor mods. Claiming 247 is just inacurate.

Has anyone had any experience with the new Hytech header? I just ordered one, and John told me that they were using lighter metals, and had just started doing this. My new setup will be my Comptech CAI, Hytech Header, Berk Test pipe, Fujitsubo Legalis R, and VAFC2 tune. I am currently waiting for my exhaust and header to come in, so I can take this thing in and get it tuned. I will be going to Inline Pro in Northern Virginia, as they are supposed to be one of the best and most reliable local shops. I am hoping that my numbers are as good as some of yours! I know the Legalis R is not the best choice for big power, but where I live, I simply do not have the choice of having an extremely loud single exhaust, which is why I sold my JIC. I will post pictures of all my new mods when they come in. Good luck guys!

Ruben had the hytech header, and made good gains. go back a few pages, you can see his dyno.

I'm getting my mugen header today and i'm going to switch to a single exhaust because i heard that you can get better gains aswell. but i'm going to keep my current set-up and put the mugen header on and add vafcII and also get it dyno tuned. i'm hoping for some good #'s.

wow I did not know hytech was selling them now. Or is it special order????
If it's any lighter then the one I had then DAM!

It's a great header. Even with all the mods I had I could feel the difference once it was added. You can hear the difference aswell. Helps out top end performence well, but surprisingly it did pretty good for my bottom end too. Let us know how it goes, and post pics....I'd like to see if it's similar to mine.

Oh and what are the specs???(primaries, secondaries, etc.)

Well, after 42 pages ill chime in...ive been following this thread since it started and im slowly trying to approach the 230mark as well. Just recently i did a tune w/ a vafc 2 on inline pro's dynojet and made 216whp w/ a T1R 70mm V2 Titanium and vafc. My J's header will be in tomorrow and im going to upgrade to a inline pro fuel pump and back for another tune. I think that the 225-230 mark is very possible. Version, i say you should def. try out the megan header all the specs seem right up to par with the J's. Just curious what dyno's read the highest and which read the lowest?
