It's happened. There are people who have done it, they just dont post all day on s2ki.
Do you have any links? If it has happened that is great! Don't get me wrong, I'd like nothing more than to see it happen, but until it happens I am going to remain skeptical.

Silver, I love how helpfull your posts are as of late.

Anyway, I know there are 240whp bolt on S2000's out there. As for providing links on demand, well, I can't do that.

Also, I've been lurking since the begginning of this thread. I figure I might as well come out with my setup now. I'll let you guys know how it does when I hit the dyno in the next couple weeks.

-J's Type V snorkle (not all pinched like the spoon, requires Type V hood, gotta order that)
-K&N drop in, modified box (gutted)
-Toda header
-Amuse R1000 70mm (header back)
-Hondata intake manifold gasket (we'll see if this works for power, probably not)
-VAFC-II

Plans for down the road:

Spoon venturi 70mm TB (port matched)
maybe an aftermarket intake manifold (Full Race)

Far future:

Hayward ITBs
2.2L build

^ Nice mods!

If someone on this forum has hit 240rwhp with bolt-ons and tuning I think they would have posted in this thread by now. This thread has been open for quite some time now.

it all just depends on the dyno, if i used my dynapack numbers i would have it 240rwhp a long time ago. my setup makes 246 on a dynapack!

1. Yes, I currrently have the Hondata ECU reflash. I also have an AEM EMS which will be installed over the course of the next few weeks. If your trying to say that you would make more power with an AEM EMS, you're wrong. You can do the same tuning with Hondata.

4. I don't have the best header for power? Please show me dyno graphs comparing the Toda to other headers.

6. TB port-matched, upgrades cams, etc. is not considered bolt-ons. I believe the debate is over whether or not you can make 240rwhp with bolt-ons and tuning. If my understanding is correct, these upgrades you are talking about shouldn't even be mentioned.

Again, please prove me wrong and show me an S2000 making 240rwhp with bolt-ons and tuning. Your problem will be that you can't or won't be able to show me, because it just isn't going to happen.
1. No...never said you can't tune well with the Hondata, infact if I could use Hondata I probably would because it really is so easy. Though the EMS does have a little more ability...hondata is still great. I was letting you know I am on a standalone system.

4. Do I have the dyno graphs? Why would I...search for yourself. The Toda is not a bad header...but the J's surpases it in power both low end and high end.

6. I personally never considered this 240whp goal to be strictly bolt ons...while I do think it could be possible, that would be hard. I simply consider it a 240whp without major engine modification (ie stroking, different pistons to REALLY bump compression, etc.) mild cams are not hard...nor are valve springs, retainers or port matching a TB to an intake manifold.

As others have said some people have gone well past the 240whp mark...I dont remember nor think it was strictly bolt ons, but I have seen 270+whp N/A dynos, yes.

I hear ya. I initially had my car dyno'd on Shawn Church's dynapack and I made ~235rwhp. A lot of people cried foul stating that his dynapack reads hella high. Well, not so long ago I had my S dyno'd on a Mustang dyno and made 225rwhp. Seems to me that Shawn's dynapack isn't reading as high as some people think.

I have seen an N/A S2000 make 280rwhp, but it had ITBs.
