hey I'm not actually knocking it

I think i want to get one purely for the sound.

My plan is to ditch this AEM v1 intake and go back to stock box (this thing is just stupid loud) and get the HKS exhaust. I can't even hear my testpipe/stock exhaust with no resonator combo, but I know once I silence the intake I'll be able to hear the farty rattle of this combo more, hah

I finally realized all the noise from my car is coming from up front instead of out back. Totally unacceptable, lol

As far as I can tell, I don't even HAVE an exhaust note!

I'm almost in the same boat as you, I'm sure the AEM isnt nearly as loud as ITBs, but my exhaust might as well be silent, lol

Most people want the sound coming from the motor and not the exhuast.

I refer more exhaut note then engine noise. My 2 had a nice growl to it at wot, but my exhaut was so loud that it dominated at all levels. funny though because even though my exhaust was loud i could still hear the v2 pretty well.

He needs a 3" single...

Or, just dyno with the cat unbolted and running open header.

My K & N is alittle loud but i like it. Im looking to get a single 70mm exhuast to offset it some. After i get my exhuast ill tune the VAfc and hopefully put up decent numbers.

Alright Nate, you were the one telling ME that you didn't want a loud exhaust...and now you're jonesing for an INVIDIA!!!

At least get a 70mm T1R Sparrow!

BTW...I was just reading the Invidia V3 has 70mm tubing, but the flanges are still 63mm. Maybe you can grind them a bit bigger before you install.
