Anyone here have any experience porting and polishing the intake manifold and throtle body? Any gains from doing this?
I did it, somewhat better throttle response. I polished the intake runners, throttle body and gave the throttle body a nice chamfer where it was blunt for the intake air coming in. Gains? no idea. Minimal. But every little bit counts.

So far the biggest bangs for the buck have been ecu tuning via VAFC/Greddy Emanage Ultimate/AEM EMS. Depending on MY and level of tune, 10-22 rwhp midrange to peak can be seen.
The Hondata ECU reflash has proven to be a big bang for the buck for us MY06 owners.

I agree that it does help the midrange quite a bit, but I can't justify paying $600 for a factory ECU "reflash" that cannot provide me with different tuning maps when the extra modifications come.

I'm sure it works fabolously with a header/exhaust, but I'd rather invest that money in a tunable standalone or piggyback like the EMS or Greddy E-Manage.

just wanted to say to all the fellow NA heads that I hope you all have a good thanksgiving. Remember to watch how much you eat, I suspect everyone's cars to be slower after tomorrow due to the added weight of the drivers. lol
