^^ think about it, the cat's job is to burn the excess gas. Removing the cat allows for better flow, however the excess gas is sent out through your exh. Therefore a odor of gas is present. Correct me if i am wrong.

A tune will reduce the smell.

I run a TP, and i only smell it when i park my car in my garage. Parking outside, i smell nothing.

yes catless usually smells bad like those old cars you follow billowing out black smoke! usually the driver of the car can only smell it if at idle or if you go stick your nose up against the tailpipe =P cars following can usually smell it too--some cops are familiar with the catless scent.

Thanks guys. I think this is the way I'll go unless one of the SC kits gets CARB certification first.
Both the Vortech and Comptech are CARB certified superchargers. Crossing my fingers on Kraftwerks in the near future. Certification is in, but it's taking awhile like it usually does.

well I would say go with some kind of greddy exhaust... Personally I would go single,(yield more gains and doesn't look bad after a read cap) but looks like you want a dual... Maybe a invidia v3... Anything 70mmpiping will probably be good, but dual will restrict performance. Go with a greddy ti-c single exhaust IMO

Finally tuned. I am so happy with this greddy kit.
Things I added were Apexi intake filter, Tanabe dual exhaust, HFC, manual boost constoller, Greddy pressure sensor.
I asked them to set @10psi. Due to boost creep, they set @8psi, it creeps up to 10psi.
I was also told that the number shows lower than dyno jet since it's mustand dyno.
296hp, 194tq. Before tune, the first run, it was 230hp

^^ it doesn't look like they tweaked the Greddy map much.

I'd go back and complain. Even my half ass'd church tune with a slipping clutch, looked way more linear that than.
