So i've read all the pages in this thread and it's been SUPER helpful...
Thanks Guys.

I just purchased the kit and it is in route.
I've read that best results (without much boost creep) are with stock cat and 70mm catback. My question is could i get similar results if I, instead, replaced the Cat with a HFC and ran the stock exhaust? I really do like the quietness of our cars exhaust. But i would really like to see 300whp.

What WHP could i expect to see with HFC and stock exhaust w/ a tune?
I love reading this thread and thanks for all the advise. I've been getting soo excited.
But it looks like i am being scammed for 3 grand and won't be receiving a kit

Yeah..As soon as paypal and my credit card company work it out I'll be back in the market for a kit.
So if anyone has Greddy kit for sale let me know. I prefer local... so not to go through this again.

What do you guys think of purchasing the kit new vs. used?

I see a lot of pros such as cheaper in price and may already have extra goodies like BOV and such. But what cons have you guys ran into with used kits? What kind of mileage do these kits get before needing maintenance (rebuilds, etc)?

I bought used AP2 kit from member here, the only problem I had was mapping. He had different set up and it was not running right with my car.
After tuning my car to my set up, it is so fun to drive especially with 4.77 diff.

I say it is no problem to buy used if the kit is from the car of a member here.
I also got BOV with it.

Does anybody know what kind of front strut bar I should get?
I took out the T1R 4pt bar due to turbo, and bought Spoon strut bar but does not fit due to intake charge pipe.

^ Glad as is well Sammy, I want some engine bag pics

As fas strut bar, I think TelosHedge, or Asukadck (Sp?) had one with his Greddy Kit

Also as faras the Dip goes, I had one but it was less pronounced...

I'll post the engine bay picture tommorow. I cut the hood and had to drive for dyno tune which was raining pretty bad.
I didn't have chance to clean it up.
Anyway the shop told me that they will correct after I get wideband.
I don't have much time since up here is already 33 degrees which means winter already.
It will start snow soon, I'll enjoy this last moment and tune it next Spring comes.
So, is that dyno sheet when you had before selling to me, I mean basic kit + tuning?

I've read all 28 pages, very close to pulling the trigger on this! I may have missed a few bits of info. I apologize ahead of time if this subject has been covered.

I read that this kit is not good for road racing, but good for auto-x. Whats the consensus on a spirited drive up a mountain? I'm in socal, so the climate is rather moderate with the occasional heat wave.

I'm at ~75k miles
