Step #5: get smoked by someone who can drive and was clever enough to set up an MR2 Spyder.

 

Where did this happen? I saw an MR2 in the January CalClub results, but is was near last.

 

Hasn't happened yet, to my knowledge. Give it time. Most people haven't gotten to step #3 yet.

 

Jesse Naughton will be at Dixie in a half prepared STR MR2. So will myself and Matt so it should be a pretty good baseline - assuming I can get the car halfway decent before then...

Tom O'Gorman will be there in an STR car too - don't know what model yet though... and he's really quick as long as the car is good.

This thread is an awesome resource. Im kind of on the edge between a ap1 and ap2 that will tun into a STR car. I know the benefits of a ap2, but it seems a few of you guys are prepping ap1's anyway. thoughts?

 

Do what you can afford and have fun. These fossil fuels won't be around for ever!
