My wife put them on the car last week, and this was their first event on them. I have a set for my ST car also, just haven't ran them yet. They took a while to scrub in.

They took a lot of abuse this weekend, and wore good, and are grippy.

Are the Kooks shaved or full tread? Some NB STR Miatas here have been running them full tread and they appear to wear nicely. Shaved they would be like slicks.

Sorta unrelated, but I drove an BS prepped S2000 CR yesterday (Pete Loney) on Kumhos and absolutely love that car. Stock shocks too. Pretty damn impressive car.

Adjustible FSB arrived today for the MX-5 but my co-driver Henry is going to Hawaii for the weekend so no testing this weekend. Bummed.

Full. I see no reason to shave them.

There was a quick STR MRS out there on 225 Hankooks on 15x9 wheels and it looked good:

Brian,
Were those 18" wheels on your car?

I drove Brian's car for my last run in the afternoon, and I was pleasantly surprise at the Kooks. They were very grippy when I took my run, but then again Brian's car was the slut this past weekend, so the tires remained up to temp

Corrected your post It is actually my wife Meredith's car. I just put the parts on it for her and Jay.

Jay's camera died, so no video from the weekend.
