The reports have not been of a-arm rubbing, but of fender liner/engine bay rubbing, and it seems the more neg camber contributes to that.
I have definite and very hard A-arm rubbing at full droop with the 949 wheels: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...post&p=18989366

Anyone can check this by jacking up the front end and turning the wheels to lock either direction. Luckily this situation shouldn't happen very often but the possibility is there to screw up the wheels pretty bad if it does.

Typical if people aren't running enough spring rate or are too low. You can do the same thing on the stock wheels and tires.
I got some rubbing on the fender tabs so I rolled them up and no more rubbing now. I do get a little bit of rub at full lock on my sway bar arm though. It is just enough to start polishing the metal though.

Lucky for you - you'll never be at full droop on the street or autox course - only in your garage on jack stands

Sweet! For a second, I thought I had to worry about you beating me. JK>... I'm still worried.

I just got a S2k a month and a half ago (upgraded from a RSX Type-S) and autocrossed it twice so I can't really contribute much to this thread but just wanted to thank everyone for sharing their information. On that note, I just wanted to share that I'm running 17x8.5 OZ Allegeritas +63 offset with 255/40/17 star specs all around with maxed out front camber and rolled fenders and I have no rub anywhere.

Yep, I had a set of those wheels for a while. I really liked them. I did notice a slight difference in the progressiveness of the tire to break away but the ultimate grip was there. They are light too.

I'm really starting to believe that we have much rougher lots and roads than the average person here. Full droop is not unexpected for me.

Admittedly, the chances of being at full lock at that time are quite small.

Really? I'd expect if you have any kind of front bar on the car you'd put a wheel in the air long before you'd reach "full droop" as measured when the car is on stands.

Does the most recent shock build incorporate droop stops?
