$11,675 would be a good deal for you. If you can get him in the $12-13k range and the car is in shape you should buy it.

Ya, I'm not sure how other people feel, but I actually see mods as a negative (besides say a headunit/audio upgrades, and maybe some cosmetic stuff). So, I personally wouldn't give too much value to most mods (like I/H/E) if I was a person who was ok buying a car with those mods.

hey sorry, suppose this seller throws in the stock parts he replaced w/ his mods (springs, exhaust and maybe catalytic converter). would this price be reasonable (14k)?

AAAARRRGGHHH! I'm so frustrated! I want to join the stook club so badly with a berlina black AP2, but all the cars I can find are over priced or just heaps.

BTW, wtf is wrong with people, it seems like everyone goes to KBB, sees the private party value and adds $3k on top of that price.

Sorry for the rant, I just wanted to vent. Riding home today it was 70 F, sun shining, and I was riding in a Chevy pickup

Hello! I've been looking for a s2k for a long time... lol. I came a cross this sale at dealership website. It is a GPW(my favorite color!) 2004 with about 58k miles. It has tan interior (not a huge fan but don't mind.) The price tag is 16,888... I know the kbb for retail has to be little less than that like 16,700 and the private party value should be 14,190 assuming its in excellent condition. Dealer always wins but how much do you think I could negotiate it down to? Any input would be great.

Not much with that attitude. The customer should always win because they can walk and buy somewhere else.
