I need some help guys! Can you help me ID any modifications on this car....and what they'll do to the car? I vaguely recognize the wheels, and think it's been lowered from this site. My friend totaled my old S so Im after a lower priced 06+ but dont want one that's been modded too much.

Any and all help is appreciated, thanks!

Yes if you have the ability to I would take the car to the nearest Honda dealer or a trusted mechanic and have compression test and leak down performed. Unless your you know your way around cars and know what to look for but from your questions it seems your a bit like me in that you still have a little bit to learn.
but the others guys are right once you buy an s you will wonder why you waited so long.

Hey I went to look at it and the rear bumper and quarter panel weren’t aligned properly? like the bumper was sticking out from the quarter panel a bit so i’m just going to keep waiting.
Hopefully the prices will drop more in winter too.
I can be patient.
Almost all S2000 rear bumpers don't fit perfectly where the body meets the bumper under the tail light. If that's the only problem it's an easy fix with a sheet metal screw, there are some how-to threads about getting it to fit properly.

The price might go down a little in winter, but S2000 prices have been going up lately and if you wait who knows how many people will test drive it between now and then and it will probably gets washed several times -- which if not done carefully can wreck a black car.
It really depends on how much you really want that particular car. And if you don't mind being without an S over the winter.

Woah I didn’t know..
I thought only CR’s had that misalignment problem cuz of the wing/downforce.
Thanks for replying to my questions.
I can wait though that way I keep saving money and I really want a BB with the black/red interior.
So I've got the money saved, got the time, found a decent vehicle (I'm not looking for something AMAZING, I plan to track and autocross the car alot), and will go look at it tonight.
2003 S2000
Silverstone
140,000 miles
Has been in one right side impact, carfax says 'severe' but no structural damage. I plan to examine the underside very well, but I'm assuming that by no structural damage they mean no frame damage.
2 owners
good interior and exterior
has the whole engine replaced at 40,000 miles, but it doesn't say why, anyone know anything about this?
So is there some reason the engine would have been replaced at 40,000 miles in a 2003 S2000?
THanks!
