My friend has a '01 S2000 for sale with a little over 70k on it and wants $10,000 for it completely stock but it does have a little paint crack on his front bumper and the top has to slits in it. Another local guy wants to sell me his '04 S2000 with 101,000 miles on it for $10,500 in excellent condition with clean carfax and all receipt from oil changes and all modifications done to it including invidia exhaust and Injen cai. Which one do you guys think would be the better deal. Thanks for you help ahead of time guys!!

"I do not want some mechanic looking at my engine because it will be a waste of my time, I have nothing to hide and dealerships do not do such checks on their cars and since this is a private sale I do not agree. If you do not accept my conditions then we will not be doing business."
Pretty much his response there...

I'd go with the newer one. Miles aren't a big deal with these cars.

Walk away...

If he is asking for 11 thousand dollars of your money, he should be doing his best to earn it.

The 2004 is the AP2 which looks incredible. If I can get $10,000 for it, I would probably buy it but he's really not budging. My max is absolutely $10,000 flat.
