Go for the 2004, fixing the paint chip and replacing the top will easily be more than the $500 difference in the cars.

Which one do you guys think would be the better deal. Thanks for you help ahead of time guys!!
Go with the AP2 you will thank yourself in the long run. And for those cars the long run has probably already started to set in

Just wondering why an Ap1 holds its value slightly better in my area of Florida. Also Andersonracing, I'm not really sure what you meant as far as the long run starting to set in.

Maybe it's the 9K and the less refined / common version. I have had an 05 and an 01, and there are considerable differences. The 05 was more comfortable, little more torque and was nicer to cruise in. The 01 is much louder it seems, more nible (16's as opposed to 17's) and, well, revving to 9K RPM is always fun. If you enjoy driving, AP1, if you enjoy hard parking, AP2...

9k my friend ...9k ...it is the true divider that makes the s2k in a class of one ...9k all day would be my vote ...although I am a bit bias having owned two AP1s ..i drove an Ap2 a few times ..just wasn't the same imo the ap1 would be the car I'd go buy ASAP
