Lol. Someone just told me today how surprised he was at how quiet my blower is. I think its kinda loud personally. But I have an OEM exhaust, so relatively speaking mines quiet as fawk.
Just throwing out an idea here...
Those of us who use an AEM ems, any thoughts on whether or not the AEM FIC piggyback could theoretically be used as a (quick fix) for the OBDII port emissions?
It controls timing, fuel delivery, has it's own on-board MAP sensor, and works in conjunction w/ the stock ems. My thoughts are, when that time of the year arrives utilize the FIC, hook up both O2 sensors back onto the exhaust, and disconnect a charge pipe (for safe measure). Assuming you can calibrate the FIC to mimic factory settings without having to remove the larger injectors, colder plugs, and aftermarket MAP sensor you should pass? or am I missing something here?

S/C cars sound just like N/A cars. At least in terms of sounding like poop and having rasp issues. Nothing at all like a turbo car.
My SOS SC sound like a cement mixer full of bolts. I also have have CF hood with no sound deadening.
"I used distilled water and a bit of water wetter, which you can find in any car parts place. "
I used Purple Water Wetter. On the bottle it said not to use distilled water... so be careful to follow the instructions on the brand you buy. Also, obvious but, if you live were temps drop below freezing water wetter is not anti-freeze. It will freeze and burst your HX and aftercooler.

Hey everyone, I posted this in the Under hood forum but thought I'd try my luck here as well... This is a 350z trans that I will be swapping into my S. The bottom gear has some surface scarring that I can't figure out. Any ideas? Should I be worried? No other damage on any of the surrounding parts, or excess shavings or metal chunks...

Anyone know if the factory heat shielding (the cloth like material) that is on the underside of the hood can take the heat of a full-race pro street manifold?
The mani is 1600 degree coated and i plan on making the typical fuse box heat shield for it, but i dont want to burn the hood heat shielding (or paint for that matter).
