I'm still trying to figure out which route I'd like to go with. I'm running neither at this time and so far it seems ok but my springs might be too soft to take advantage of tender springs but I really don't know.
I'm running 672f 560r

Tender springs have actual spring rate and can be used very effectively to tune the suspension.

Helpers just keep things seated when they are completely unloaded.

I'm running 7" springs in the rear with no rear bar - the only time they come unseated is when I jack the car up.

Dyno'd the car for the first time last night. Dyno Jet dyno at like 4400 Elevation. Got 205 @ the wheels. Gained something like 27 hp @ 5500 RPM's (Lowered Vtech Engagement... I have an 05..). Honestly, can't remember exact figures... I'll post up the runs in a little bit.

Mods are Dryer Vent intake / Stock Box Mod w/ K&N, and Exhaust Cut off Mod. That's it.

Car has 65k Miles. Really impressed with the #'s. Wish I had a basline run with my full exhaust on though... I'll do that the next time when I recieve my header.

Doesn't that seem opposite of what you would think .

A true reference point. The scales seemed a tad bit on the heave side, but same scales, same day. Comparing weights outside of this isn't worth worrying about. Did Jadrice or any other BS guy weigh theirs? Any of the STR guys? Dr Wetzel's CR was around 2800 (OEM wheels, full exhaust, AC/Radio model).

I was on lightweight wheels (TR/Kosei) on (4) 275/40/17 A6s, Corey's Exhaust mod, and full/topped off fuel tank. My car is usually around the upper mid-high 2600 mark in B-Stock trim.

Keith, were you on 245s? If so, thats worth 12lbs Hate to see you leave BS, but will see you soon enough in STR.

BTW, I ran 1/2 tank at the Blytheville NT on day 1 by accident. It was all 2nd gear without any shifting. No fuel starve. Seems the 1st gear downshifting is a major factor in fuel starving.
My car weighted 2705 with the same wheel setup and exhaust setup as both of you guys, and a full tank of gas. With the stock Ap2 v1 wheels, it weighted 2716.

I'm going Motons motorsports as soon as I get Jon to buy my old set for the black CR, so I'm sure that will drop more weight at the suspension. The motorsports are aluminum body instead of the steel body on the clubsports.

Those with Motons, are you running bumpstops? If so, where can I find some that fit the 22 mm shaft? I have yet to come across any. I may have to resort to drilling some out. Thanks.

I am not running bump stops. If I was they would need to be around 3" long and longer in the front. At least that is about how long the dirty portion of shaft is. <-- oh my.

In the front, the tires hit the inside of the wheel wells before anything else makes contact.

Thanks Vu.

Glagola, are you not using the Moton upper spring mount and putting the spring directly on the stock upper mount where the OEM spring would rest?

I only have about 2 inches or less of bump travel in the rear. I am using the Moton upper spring perch and old SoS top hats.
