Has anyone seen this video? There is the STR love in there. 2 different spots.
Cool video. Thanks.

I counted 8 scenes with STR including one STRL and grid shots.

are any of you guys running spacers either front or rear? I'm not sure if your track has to be the same width front and rear in ST or not so I might be way off base here

Spacers where? With 17x9s the main goal is to keep the tires from hitting the fenders and spacers just make that worse.

Rob and I ran spacers on his AP1 in stock, but I dont see anyone doing it in STR.

well, I ran my car last weekend at the worst site we have here in the sfr region and did quite well pax wise against some pretty big names.

this was sundays results.

and this is saturdays

as you can see, I drive in a pretty stacked region so it really helps my driving with/against these guys...

in the rear. Im 255's on stock ap2 8.5's and have quite a gap between the outside of the tire and the lip of the fender. that is with only a roll

my thinking is that is might help with some of the over steer problems

Spacers will not be significant enough to help your over steer issues. Do you have a stiff front sway bar? Have you tried running with out the rear sway bar on? What's your car setup including alignment?

my car is not up to prep. I am more thinking towards next season (yes we have seasons up here) when I add 255's up front and stiffer springs. I was just throwing it out there to see if anyone had experimented with it at all

For what it's worth (you've seen my driving, LoL), my car seemed pretty balanced w/out spacers, a big front bar, and the same spring rates all around. You might be able to address everything you need to with a beefy front swaybar (or stiffer springs up front) and an alignment.

I've got a question for you guys too - how are you guys addressing rubbing on the inner-body up front? Does anyone else get this? I get a lot of it and have worn a fair portion of my fender liners away. I've seen some people hammer this area out, but was wondering if anyone has dealt with this some other way. Stiffer springs isn't an ideal option because I'd have to switch my setup to make it work, ultimately meaning more money...
