in the rear. Im 255's on stock ap2 8.5's and have quite a gap between the outside of the tire and the lip of the fender. that is with only a roll

my thinking is that is might help with some of the over steer problems
What oversteer problems?

I might also add that all the cars I've worked with so far decreased snap oversteer by widening the front track, not the rear.

Me drilling 2 3/4 inch holes in my trunk to run the quick releases through isn't illegal is it? in a way It's modifying the chassis but isn't that what everyone does?

That is my plan. I was told you can drill holes to run the hoses. It doesn't say how large so I has told that would be fine.

No isn't.

FYI, the Solo rule book is available for free download at http://www.scca.com/documents/Solo_Rules/2..._solo_rules.pdf.

Has anyone seen this video? There is the STR love in there. 2 different spots.
I'm at 0:45 (42 STR). This was my first Nationals event. Sweet vid and just as good as last year's. I need suspension soooo badly. I'm still on stock suspension with nearly 50k miles. Reading through all of these STR threads looking for suggestions.

I personally wouldn't ever run my car like that. All it takes is one spin kicking up a bunch of dirt and dust and you've got potential problems like scratched cylinder walls.

I would estimate approximately 0.0000382 hp loss over a clean filter of any kind. The screen presents more of a restriction than a filter would because of the size of the media.
