I mean if I wanted to settle with hideous red carpet and door/seat inserts on a silver car, I would be in Heaven...theres like 4 of them all in the same price range, about 1-2k lower than everything else

1. Find one that is not local, fly out and drive back. See if a s2kier in the area will check it out for you.

or

2. Buy one with a red/black interior and swap the seats and doors with someone. Lots of people like the red and would trade.

Wow. I do apologize good sir, it was a general statement and forgot to mention further criteria. I'm looking for berlina black, unless it's just too good to pass up. I hate yellow, I want a clean, unmolested, unmodded, beauty lol, and prefer a major dealership (trying to use cap one financing for 4.x% or my credit union for 6.49%) etc. None of these listed meet my criteria with the exception of one, the silver one for 16,995, I might have to look into that one...thank you!! Appreciate the legwork. I'm using Hank's Helper but I must've overlooked some of them...

I did consider buying with the red/black interior and swapping or converting, especially considering I want do have alcantara done on the seats anyway, but the one I posted is sold. appeared to be a killer deal though, I'll just have to wait for another.

JMChristopher, i was looking at that one in dallas this past weekend, ended up buying this one instead:

05 silverstone

17k for 45,xxx miles with silverstone/red-black. whoever was talking about the buyer's location being a factor on price and availability is spot on, i live in Oklahoma City and the marketplace is totally dry. dallas (200 miles away) has about 15 for sale in the 15-20k range at any given point, but i was looking for a specific color combo, and for the luxury of choice you may have to pay more than blue book. unfortunately in markets like mine, scarcity benefits the seller.
What turned you away from the one I posted? I did send the guy an e-mail and he said that it was broken into and the top was torn. The radio was stolen so he got a new stereo for it. What ever the case, I probably would shy away from that one or try to talk him down to like 15k or so.

Sigh... wish I could afford one right now, but research is good.

Thanks man, I'll have to see if they still have that one in Vegas. Be heading there in a couple weeks, hopefully it'll be reduced by then since CarMax doesn't negotiate with their "no haggle" pricing lol. A white one finally popped up somewhat locally too, patience is a good virtue I guess. Thanks for your help again
