IMO they are not part of the hub. They are a bolt-on mount for the lower arm. Just because they have two bolts that attach it to the hub vs just one bolt through the arm doesn't make them anymore part of the hub than they are part of the lower arm.

Unofficially of course.
I see them as part of the hub, as they bolt solidly to it, with the ball joint being the interface connecting the arm to the hub.

I do think that they fit in with the intent of camber kits. If someone protests something like this, they should be kicked in the nuts.

FYI, I have a fender roller available for anyone in the Atlanta region. No charge to use it and only a fully refundable deposit to those that need to use it somewhere other than my house.

whats the wieght of the 2000 rear sway bar with all the hardware also?

I'm going to do some test at the up coming autocross, Is all I need to do is disconnect one side of the sway bar link or do I need to disconnect them on both lower arms?

set up-
front
toe out- .14 each side
camber-2.4 each side
caster- 5.4ish

rear
toe in .1 each side
camber 2.1 each side

stock shocks (till winter I still dont't know what I'm going with)
SFR soild 1.25 front bar (on full stiff)
949 wheels and rs3 tires

input would be great

Toe out in the front never seemed to improve my setup. I've switched back to zero toe and my DD street tires thank me.

I've heard people say Ackerman isn't important but I can't imagine ut wouldn't be.
Is it just that our car with 0 toe is fine? I've always felt that when I went to 0 toe from slight toe out that I lost a tad bit of cornering grip in the front. I've yet to go back and try a bit of toe out.
Ah! I know, it's probably due to the fact the our car toes out under compression so we get a bit there.

FYI, do not turn into a steeply ramped driveway. My passenger fender is currently “non-compliant” due to having the inside wheel in a sharp turn support the whole weight of the front end. Also took a big chunk out of the tire as it grabbed a fender tab and completely bent it to where it was pointed out of the fender.

Idk, I'm not a pro like you guys that why I come here for information. Dave seems to run a tad toe out in the front on his car and seems to like it. From going from stock to my alimment now is a crazy difference. It seems I get better turn in and rotation with a tad bit of toe out in the front and a small bit of toe in in the back.

What'd the wink face mean? Is that a yes or a "what a noob question"

Another question...

I'm makes out at 2.4 in the front with stock ride hieght and j's camber joints. Ands setting at 2.1 in the back. Do I need to go up some more in the back... Say 2.6 or so? Or would that lead to more tire wear an no more grip gained
