It's my iPhone 4g. I bought a TOM TOM mount that amplifies the GPS signal. It mounts directly to the windshield... very secure.

The app does the sink of the data log with video automatically while it's on the phone. Awesome app for $15 bucks.

Immediately below is a link to my first data collect/video all processed by my iPhone using Harry's Lap Timer Pro ($15). There is an external GPS via Blutooth, and an OBDII reader that uses a WiFi connection. Thanks to Pete Loney for introducing me to Harry's Lap Timer Pro app.

April 17 Video - fastest TO run 64.317 sec

I started a thread to discuss smart phone data acquisition, see link below.

+1. Mine just came in yesterday in matte bronze. Can't wait to get them on the car.

Proclips is what I use for my devices and they fit the devices just right, but I use Modifry's vehicle mounts for the S2000. They mate together perfectly.

I am NOT prepared to change my wheels/rims though, so here is the quick question about tires options (specifically the front) on OEM wheels:

The Tire Rack search gave me 245/40 Front and 255/40 Rear; will the 245 actually fit on the 17x7 OEM front wheel?

The Spec tab / link says it needs 8" to 9.5" rim but I thought to just ask if anyone has actual experience. Thanks guys.

BOO! So nobody bothered to even laugh at my dumb question, oh well...

I am not playing as hardcore as most you guys on this, so I went ahead and got those tires in 225/45 Front and 255/40 Rear mounted on my OEM AP2 V1 rims last week and going to run my car without any other "prep" (I know just having these rubbers is hardly any prep) at my local event this Sunday. Just wanted to loop back to it, that's all.

And by the way, I've seen the other posts here since subscribing to it when I posted, you guys are sharing cool stuff especially the lap recorder and video overlay stuff. I have been using Dynolicious on my iP4 securely tucked into the cup holder box for my "data logging" and a Sony flash memory HD cam on Modifry wind blocker mount for onboard.

Here is one of my runs at the most recent local event few weekends ago.

I thought that was the consensus as well. I wanted to run it with the stock bar before I shelled out any money though.
We've ran 2 events and the car feels great/stable with the rear sway attached. It's going to stay.

Im in the same boat. I'm still on an AP1 front as well)(on my ap2), and the biggest I will go before increasing spring rate is the Eibach. This is with 850 fronts, I don't like big sway bars as you can tell

Well, I will say that the car most definately loves a super stiff front bar. I have a gendron 1'1/4" bar at full stiff w/spherical bearing mounts... and I don't see myself changing it anytime soon.

Just for kicks... I don't ever see enough setups on this thread so I'll contribute. Here's my current "untested" setup (untested because I just got a new alignment today).

Tein SRC Coilovers (STOCK SPEC NOT EVASIVE). 900lb Front / 780lb Rear
16 Clicks Double Adjustable. F: -8C/-8R R:-4C/-8R
Gendron 1'1/4" Bar
Spherical Sway Bar Mounts
EBAY Miata MX5 Rear Sway Bar
-2.9 Front Camber / -2.7 Rear Camber
"0" Toe Front / "3/16ths" Toe IN Rear
Ride height ??????
Dryer Vent Intake Mod...(My invention!)
PLM Header
Stock Cat
V-Band Stock Exhaust Mod
VAFC II
Unobtanium Buddy Club QF's 17x9" +63 F/R
Hankook RS3's 38 PSI F/R
H&R 10mm Rear Spacers
ARP Wheel Studs
Sparco Sprint 5 Seat / Sparco Rail
Brail Battery 11.5lbs
Crap loads of zip ties
Curb weight 3/4 tank of gas 2650lbs. (without me in it... obviously).
