Yeah, I have been speaking with Bill about the bar, and he recommended the .25 inch hollow bar.

Still debating the bar just because it is so expensive, but like anything else you gotta pay to play I suppose.

I agree. Too much bar hurts you. I would much prefer making alignment changes than stiffer sway bar changes. If you can hold on to the line in a turn, you may as well pack up and go home.

Also, wheel lift happens no matter how stiff you go. We race on bumpy lots so eventually you will go an uneven surface.

I have not experienced or heard of anyone experiencing inside rear wheel lift in STR. Balancing out a loose back end seems to be the primary concern in STR. I agree that you don't want too much, just enough to get the job done.

That part confused me. Care to elaborate?

If you're interested, I'm selling my 1.25 hollow center section and the mounting brackets for the gendron bar. If you're trying to save money, you can buy my parts and buy just the arms and endlinks from bill (or if you wanna save more money, you could get the endlinks from mcmaster-carr for cheaper). Or you can just buy my bar and have your choice of solid or hollow. The hollow bar weighs substantially less then the solid bar, and every pound helps.

Not legal for STR. You can only manipulate the signals coming from the sensors and not the output to the injectors or ignition system.

they should allow any tuning device in str thats not a stand alone. The 06+ can completly tune everything with flashpro why not allow every car have the same ability? It's a crappy, unfair rule that gives 06+ a advantage that could be avoided.

It is what it is though. Until they change it I'm stuck using my neo. Jeff evans is going to talk to the scca board and see what they say.

But that reasoning, 255 mm tires shouldn't be allowed since they don't fit on an MR2 Spyder. Is allowing 255 mm tires a crappy, unfair rule because it gives the S2000 an advantage over the MR2 Spyder that could be avoided?
