From what I can remember, those dealer installed aero goodies could be protested in the stock class.... but nobody would do it....
But I wonder what would happen if someone with a non-CR put a CR wing on. Hmm...

Not legal. They have to be factory installed - not dealer installed accessories. Same goes for front lips. Just like stock class.
You could still do a CR conversion on an (edit: 2008+) AP2 - gotta do it all though. Its not like an E36 328 where you could order the car with an M3 front fascia on it - we didn't have that option.

I’m going to have to give a big +1 to not worrying about being protested for dealer accessories or AP1 bumper cover (assuming the rule changes). I don’t condone ‘lazy cheating’ on performance items but for things that are 99.9% cosmetic, you are not going to get protested. Vice versa, if you protest over something as weenie as that, you’re not going to be very popular at nationals.
One comment about the wing thing in ST*. Currently wings are not legal in SP, it’s one of the cases where ST actually has additional allowances relative to a higher up class. When I used to run SM2, putting a serious autocross wing on the car was the biggest single change we made to the car. IMHO, if the wings stay in ST*, they become a competitive necessity not a multi-purpose-car convenience. If we get limited to a small-ish single element wing, then it might not be as dramatic of a performance advantage as we had in SM2.

Damn, I didn't think asking a question would result in such conversation. Nice to know that most of you wouldn't protest over that install.
@Mac, you protest me for that I think I won't like you anymore, and I'll have you black listed at AAS events...

hahahawe need to catch up to Guy
1.x seconds is too much.
I've haven't done a lot of autocrossing last month or so but I think me and Rob Rockefeller (maybe it was someone else) had a mystery rattle in the back of the car. I just got done installing lower mileage inner axle cups (and installing the left on the right). My low speed clunking is completely gone. Also, since I made semi-rigid diff mounts I had a drivetrain vibration at 30mph, which also was cured.
Oh yeah.. I poured more rigid diff mounts using this stuff: http://www.smooth-on.com/PMC%3D--870...147/index.html
It was mainly practice for figuring out what I need to do to pour some mounts for the engine. It doesn't bond really well to a surface and you should make sure to really really get all the bushing fluid out of the main fluids. I didn't do it, but I think an overnight soak in water with good dish detergent would be good.

Kind of a general question but what are you guys doing to settle the rear down a bit? I dont have double adjustables so thats not an option. I have 0 toe in the rear, but am tentative to add toe in in the rear.
I want to go from 225/255 to 255's all around, but adding more front grip will just make this problem worse.
